Hearing the call to act / action?
Feeling the impulse to co-create in community?
Inviting all artists, movers, feelers, and healers to join us in finishing this year
in expression, catharsis, and collaboration.
Group Practice Performance exercises
Drawing tools from theater, dance, ritual, and performance art practices, we will allow our collected / collective impressions to become the raw materials for solo performance work in our weekly, virtual gathering.
No experience necessary, personal expression required.
Lakshmi will facilitate the group in shared practice / process, creating a container for each to create their own piece. We will look at what it is to create solos with the collective in mind – work that is also a prayer, with planetary reverberation.
We will experiment with healing through making, transmuting past pain and future fears into a living, breathing, pulsing seed, for creative work/practice/communion.
Performance expression each week
A weekly space for: interacting, communing, radiating, making new friends, and building community.
An opportunity for integration and exploration of the depth of these times we’re living in, moving towards personal and global well being.
Culmination: Piece / Peace – each participant will perform a solo piece during the last meeting.
